ABOUT THE EVENT
For the fourth time, Finnish iGaming Events is organizing the only international gaming conference in Finland. The event continues to grow in popularity as Finland approaches the opening of its licensing market in 2027. As in previous years, the 2026 program will be comprehensive, offering broad insights and forward-looking perspectives from leading industry professionals.
Finland’s new gambling legislation has now been approved by Parliament, following the completion of the European Union notification process. This marks a major shift in the Finnish gambling market and enables concrete discussion and analysis around the upcoming licensing system.
The licensing application period will open on 1 March 2026, and the licensed gambling market will enter into force on 1 July 2027. By the time of the September 2026 conference, the regulatory framework, licensing requirements, and market outlook will be significantly clearer.
The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of Finland’s new Gambling Act and licensing model, presented by regulatory authorities and industry experts. The programme also covers key topics such as payments and customer identification, marketing and communications, artificial intelligence, and the evolving relationship between gambling and entertainment gaming.
The event will be held in Helsinki, at Hilton Kalastajatorppa. In addition to the impressive conference facilities, the venue is ideal for extending the weekend in the capital region.

ABOUT HILTON HELSINKI KALASTAJATORPPA
This waterfront hotel is in a quiet, green district, 10 minutes’ drive from central Helsinki. It offers free access to WiFi, gym, sauna and pool. EXHIBITION SPACE
Gaming operators, service suppliers and industry bodies are invited to exhibit their services or wares relative to the theme of the event. The exhibition space will be positioned in, or adjacent to, the area for morning and afternoon coffee. This arrangement will give opportunity for exhibitors to interact with conference delegates during the daily breaks.
